Micron Defense is like nothing else on the market. FDA (food contact safe) and EPA certified the two-in-one medical-grade disinfectant (EPA Registered No. 61178-5-10350) and long-term BIOSAFE® Antimicrobial coating (EPA Registered No. 83019-1) in Micron Defense work like a nail popping a water balloon. With microscopic “spikes,” Micron Defense kills 99.99% of microorganisms (including SARS-CoV-2) by puncturing the cell/protein walls instead of leaching like conventional antimicrobials. Not only does this method mean viruses are killed on contact, but it also ensures viruses won’t have the time to mutate and eventually become resistant to the antimicrobial agent.
Nanoceramic coated surfaces also gain the added benefit of becoming stain-resistant and hydrophobic, making them much easier to clean. Unlike other surface coatings, you can continue to use over-the-counter disinfectant cleaners between Micron Defense coatings.
